In a startling incident, the lifeless body of a man was discovered suspended from a tree alongside a road in Khanapara, Guwahati. The shocking find, made early on Friday morning by local residents, has sent ripples of fear throughout the neighbourhood. Swiftly responding to the distress call, a team of police officers from the nearby Dispur Police Station arrived at the scene. They promptly secured the body and arranged for a thorough post-mortem examination to unravel the circumstances surrounding the tragic demise.
The victim was later identified as Pranab Mili, a qualified teacher who had successfully passed the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET). While the exact cause of death remains shrouded in uncertainty, officials have refrained from ruling it as a clear-cut case of suicide. Instead, they have vowed to explore all conceivable angles, leaving no stone unturned in their quest for the truth. As the investigation gathers momentum, local witnesses who initially came upon the distressing sight have voiced suspicions about the nature of the incident. Some residents have cast doubts on the presumed suicide theory, suggesting the possibility of a more sinister scenario. They speculate that the victim might have fallen prey to foul play, with his body staged to mimic self-inflicted harm.
